Mykiel Raufu-Bey is the owner/founder of the House of Khamit. In 1982, Mr. Raufu-Bey opened the predecessor store, The Jewels of Aton, on Georgia Avenue in the Howard University neighborhood. A student of master craftsman Sen Ur Heru Semajh, of the Studio of Path in New York, Mr. Raufu-Bey is one of the few gold and silver smiths creating jewelry in America. |
